Student Awards
RBEF Legacy Scholarships
The Redondo Beach Educational Foundation awards 3 annual Legacy Scholarships of $1,000 each to seniors at Redondo Union High School. Applicants must have attended RUHS or Dreizler for all four years of their high school education; must have served in a leadership role in extra-curricular activities either at school or in the community and be planning to attend a 4-year university, 2-year community college or a trade school in the fall.
Criteria
GPA 3.5 or higher (unweighted)
Attended RUHS or Dreizler for all four (4) years
Attend a college or trade school in the fall
Community service or volunteer work for a minimum of two (2) years
Served in a leadership role at RUHS in extra-curricular activity at school or in the community or in athletics

Send your resume, transcript, and a cover letter that explains how you will use what you have learned in RBUSD schools to leave a legacy on the community and carry forward into your post-high school experiences, your plans after graduation, and any financial circumstances you would like the committee to consider to rbefscholarship@gmail.com by April 1, 2025.
