2019 SKECHERS Pier-to-Pier Friendship Walk

Teen Advisory Board

The Friendship Foundation is looking for local students in both Middle and High School to help serve on the SKECHERS Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Members will act as the liaison between their school and the 2019 SKECHERS Friendship Walk Staff.

TAB Mission:

It is our mission as the 2019 SKECHERS Friendship Walk Teen Advisory Board to be committed to working with our schools and communities to maximize participation in this year's event on Sunday, October 27th.

Together, we will promote the Walk and pump up our schools and communities through a variety of activities to recruit the greatest number of walkers. We will serve as liaisons between our schools and the 2019 SKECHERS Friendship Walk staff, helping recruit other volunteers and distribute information. We will use our creativity and leadership abilities to help develop and carry out plans to get students and other people in our communities involved as walkers, donors and sponsors.

TAB Member Benefits:

As a thank you for serving in this group, the SKECHERS Friendship Walk Staff would like to provide each dedicated and active member in the group with:

* Certificate signed by Michael Greenberg, SKECHERS President

* The opportunity to make a direct difference in your school and community

* FUN motivational incentives up until the day of the Walk

* Recognition of your hard work at the Walk

Mandatory First Meeting:

Once members have been selected there will be a mandatory meeting that will cover all important information and requirements. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. Date and location is to be determined.

If you are interested in becoming a TAB member please fill out the application below and email it to Danielle@friendshipfoundation.com
