Welcome Back, RBUSD Families!
JOIN US AS WE LAUNCH THIS YEAR’S INVESTOR DRIVE: SEPTEMBER 8-25
For more than 35 years, the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation has partnered with our community to ensure every RBUSD student has access to opportunities that inspire, challenge, and prepare them for the future. Because an exceptional education requires more than state funding alone, RBEF invests in programs that support the whole child – from their very first day of school through graduation.
LAST YEAR, 15% OF FAMILIES IN OUR DISTRICT INVESTED IN RBEF,
THEIR GENEROSITY TRANSFORMED OPPORTUNITIES FOR EVERY STUDENT.
Together, we funded Music (vocal and band) and Physical Education for more than 4,000 elementary students, Science Camp transportation for nearly 3,000 students in 5th-8th grades, free PSAT testing for all 750 students in 11th grade, Robotics and STEM opportunities across all levels, Innovative Teacher Grants benefiting all 9,400 students in RBUSD, and so much more. Every gift opened doors, sparked curiosity, built confidence, and prepared students for the future.

This year’s theme, Student Stories Powered by Community, reflects what makes our schools so special. Every student is writing a unique story. For one child, that story begins by discovering a love of music. For another, it’s building a robot, stepping onto a college campus for the first time, finding confidence through athletics, or meeting a professional who inspires a future career. These moments don’t happen by chance. They happen because a community chooses to invest in its students.
