Course description: This course introduces middle school students to foundational technology concepts, computing devices, computer hardware, and software applications. Through hands-on labs and interactive projects, students will develop a strong understanding of how technology works and its role in daily life and future career.

Topics covered in this course:

  • Basic personal computer technology
  • Computer devices and components
  • Careers in computing and technology
  • Computer assembly
  • Software and operating systems basics

All students will receive a Certificate of Completion of the course.

All materials and supplies are provided by SoCal ROC.
