Length: One semester (5 credits). Session A covers the 1st semester and Session B covers the 2nd semester. Students need to take BOTH A and B sessions to get a full year of credit for a class (10 credits). Students are not permitted to take one session in one summer and another session at a later date.

This required course begins with the influences of religion, the Judeo-Christian ethic as well as Greco-Roman philosophies and achievements. The course covers revolutions in England, America and France as well as the Industrial Revolution in several nations. Students also study WWI, II, The Cold War, governmental systems and nation building in the contemporary world. The entire curriculum is enriched with culture, art and geography through any and all technology, primary resources and additional sources.
